CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
Share your memories.
Do you have old photos, stories or keepsakes from the neighborhood around Cleveland Street and Jefferson Avenue, or Washington Bottoms? Help us preserve them.
In collaboration with Asian and Asian American Studies and Urban Studies at Rhodes College, Mekong Memphis is digitizing the neighborhood's history. Please pass this along to former neighbors who share in it.
Bring it. Photos, letters, objects—whatever holds a memory of the neighborhood.
We scan it on site. Your originals go home with you the same day.
See it online. Contributors get access to a shared photo album after the festival.

A LASTING GIFT
The festival leaves something behind.
The work to ready the site — cleared grounds, a walking path and a garden — doesn't disappear when the tents come down. It becomes a green space the neighboring Buddhist temple and the neighborhood can use and steward for years to come: a place to gather, walk and grow.
All festival proceeds support future Mekong Memphis festivals and the walking path and garden on the festival grounds.
